WHATS EXPECTED OF YOU;
To understand what sets Delux apart
Understand expected content
Have an understanding of the Delux Section structure
Develop all of the needed section content
Job Description;
Overview of section content development (develop monthly
theme)
Write a minimum of 2 stories
Staff Management
Recruiting Writers and Photographers (online marketing,
etc.)
Developing staff into permanent roles (columnists)
Build relationships with non-profit organizations, promoters
and local business’
SECTION
Of your 8 stories, 1 must be a “short” (cartoon, did you
know?, Quick fact, Etc)
1 must be a profile
1 must be an interview
Refer to Justus Media Staff guidelines for content restrictions
Tasks;
Place recruiting ads through web channels such as craigslist
using multi email, multi city approach.
Frequent Blogs searching for content and recruiting by
placing related posts
Develop Events Schedule (assign staff to cover events)
Maintain direct and electronic contact with staff consistently

to grow to Managing Editor for specific brand

Contact companies with related products for partnerships,
promo events etc.
